Welcome To St. KessogsSt. Kessogs Church in Auchterarder Welcomes You
We are a friendly and open Church and whether you are a visitor, newcomer to the town, an old friend or just interested in finding out more, you will be sure of a warm welcome.
St Kessog's is a member of the Scottish Episcopal Church in the Diocese of St Andrews, Dunkeld and Dunblane, and is part of the worldwide Anglican communion: It is situated in the town of Auchterarder, close to Gleneagles in Perthshire.
Our services take place every Sunday at 9.30 am from January to June and then at 11am from July to the end of the year. This allows services at our sister Church of St James in Muthill to rotate with St Kessog's. Services at both churches are followed by tea/ coffee.
We also have an informal Eucharist service at 10am on Wednesdays; this usually takes place in St Kessog's Vestry with tea/ coffee afterwards.
Special services for Christmas, Easter and at other times are advertised on the notice board at the entrance as well as the web site.
The Sunday Eucharist service uses modern language ( the Scottish Liturgy 1982 ) with hymns and various music settings for the Eucharistic Prayer.
There is an area in the Church for small children and also a Sunday school ( held, at present, on the third Sunday of the month ).
We have a loop system for the hard of hearing and wheelchair access by ramp through the main entrance.
